Upon determination that you do have damage to substantiate a claim, you will then need to file a claim with you insurance. They will schedule an appointment for an adjuster to come to your home and asses your damages. We will gladly meet with your adjuster if you desire. Within a couple days they will send a summary of the damages, at that time we can help review the summary with the homeowner for accuracy. Each insurance company may handle claims differently. Each insurance company may handle claims differently. At ProCon our goal is to make it as hassle free as possible for the homeowner. We will be there every step of the way to protect your investment.
The homeowner is legally required to pay the deductible they have for their policy. The amount the insurance company pays to repair the roof depends on your policy.
Upon approval you will receive the first insurance check for a down payment on material. If you have a mortgage on your home, your first check will usually need to be signed by your mortgage company. We will then select the right roofing system for your home, and schedule an installation date. Once completely installed we will send a final invoice to your insurance company and they will remit the final payment.
